Azure Subscription showing Owner role identity not found.

Hello,

I am facing a strange issue. When I am checking my Azure Subscription, Access control (IAM) - The owner role is showing - Identity not found, Unable to find identity. Here is the screenshot.

Hi,

This is stale record most likely. When You assign role you basically provider object id/principal id of user, group, service principal, etc. Over time any of these Microsoft Entra resources can be deleted but the role does not know about it. As the portal tries to resolves these objects by looking into Microsoft Entra by checking which object ID to which user, group or service principal applies to. It is also possible that you do not have permissions to view your Microsoft Entra resources and thus portal will not be able to resolve them. In such case all of the roles will show that way.

I was able to resolve this issue by using Azure mobile app. I was able to assign myself the owner.
