Can I stop a shared inbox from receiving future emails?

Hello. There is currently an offic 365 shared mailbox created. Is there a way to prevent future emails from going to that mailbox?

Do you want to prevent the shared mailbox from receiving all emails? Or External Emails?

If you want to prevent the shared mailbox from receiving all emails, it's suggested that you could create a Mail Flow as shown in the below image in Exchange admin center via Mail flow>Rules:

If you want to prevent the shared mailbox from receiving External Emails, it's suggested that you could try the following steps:

1. Go to the Exchange admin center.
2. Navigate to Recipients > Mailboxes and choose the target shared mailbox.
3. Under Manage mail flow settings, configure Message delivery restriction.
4. Choose both All senders and Required senders to be authenticated.
