Hello,

We currently have a hybrid set up where our on-premise AD is synced to our Azure AD. We have a new company and need to migrate users from the old company to the new one. We want to change the domain for these users in the on-premise AD and have it automatically reflected in the Azure AD cloud. Is there a way to achieve this? Thank you!

    Yes - perform two steps:

    • add a custom domain name to your Entra ID tenant and verify it
    • add a domain name suffix to your AD DS forest and update the UPN suffix of your AD users - that will be automatically synchronized by Entra ID connect to the Entra ID tenant.
