New Experience SharePoint Server only works on my Firefox, not on my Edge (works on others' Edge)

I have some admin rights to our local SharePoint and I've made a library.

I discovered the New Experience feature and very much liked it and set it up, working all the way in MS Edge.

And everything was fine.

But one day I clicked the "Return to Classic SharePoint" (which I appreciate for it's ready access to the Ribbon editing features)

And now, I can no longer view the New Experience; but only when I run MS Edge. It also defaults me to the Quick Edit interface which is annoying.

However, when I view from Firefox I have the New Experience view.

Colleagues visiting the same library, through Edge, get sent to New Experience version by default.

In Advanced Settings, New Experience is chosen (default experience set by my admin is the classic). If I change it to classic, then my colleague's interface gets messed up!

What am I doing wrong?

I'm glad to hear you solve the problem, if you have any issue about SharePoint, you are welcome to raise a ticket in this forum.

By the way, since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer. They can only accept answers by others.". So, I would make a brief summary of this thread.

You could click the "Accept Answer" button for this summary to close this thread, and this can make it easier for other community member's to see the useful information when reading this thread. Thanks for your understanding!

[New Experience SharePoint Server only works on my Firefox, not on my Edge (works on others' Edge)]

    Issue Symptom:

OP clicked the "Return to Classic SharePoint", then no longer view the new experience in the MS Edge.

However, when in the Firefox, OP has the new experience view.

    Current status:

OP clears cookies and now new experience working as intended. Likely will have to manage cookies specifically to this intranet site.

When you return to classic experience, you could click Exit classic experience return back to modern experience.

As an experiment I Exited the New Experience in Firefox and now it is like my Edge version (Advanced settings set to New, but only see the Classic)!

    :(

I have dug a little further and I browser in Private modes and found that now both Edge and Firefox go to the New Experience.

    :)
