    Hello @athif

Yes, you are correct. The Azure Student Subscription provides a free trial eligibility for the B2ats v2 virtual machine as well along with B1s

    1. To check whether your subscription has the appropriate quota allocated for the B2ats v2 virtual machine, you can navigate to the Quotas section in the Azure portal or check via CLI or PowerShell.
    2. If you are unable to see the quota for B2ats v2 virtual machines, it could be due to a known issue that Microsoft is working on resolving. Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working on a fix, which is expected to be released some time sooner. We don not have an exact ETA as of now.

B2pts v2 and B2ats v2 join B1s VMs as part of the free services available for the first 12 months for new customers when using Azure Free and Student subscriptions. This is a relatively recent addition but we've started receiving reports that the new B2pts v2 and B2ats VM sizes are not available for some people who are using Free or Student subscriptions.

    Temporary workarounds:

    • Try deploying a B1s for the time being, as this is the VM that has traditionally been offered with these subscription types.
