When Outlook asks to let a website configure server settings for panelmaildiscovery.cpanel.net
, it’s typically part of the ‘autodiscover’ feature. This feature allows email clients like Outlook to discover and configure email accounts automatically.
However, please note that the Autodiscover feature doesn’t work with email addresses that you add in the following mail clients:
- Microsoft Outlook 2016
- Microsoft Outlook 2019
- Microsoft Outlook for Office 365
- Any mobile mail client
So, you may want to manually configure your email account in Outlook, please view the cPanel AutoConfig and Autodiscover documentation.
