How can I access my account?

I've not been able to access my Xbox account for roughly 1-month due to the verification procedure. My phone number is outdated so I am forced to use a verification form, which does not let me access my account, even when all information is correct. The support team is useless and keeps pointing me towards the verification form, which does not allow me to get access to my account. It has been a struggle to get help on this issue and no one at Microsoft seems to care. I've spent thousands of dollars on digital games and the support team has told me to create a new account... I am fed up. Why am I not able to access my games when this is the only Xbox that I sign into? The username/password are correct but I still cannot sign in due to the verification form.
