"Unknown Error" with OAuth in Azure Logic App

Hello!

I am following this tutorial to auto-scale my Fabric capacity with a logic app: https://www.biinsight.com/microsoft-fabric-automating-fabric-capacity-scaling/

At step 18 I fail to log into the capacity management as shown below with the amazing error message "unknown error". Can anyone tell me what's going on?

@FelixDunker-5150 Thanks for reaching out and apology for the inconvenience due to this issue.

When you click on "Sign in" button do you see the pop up to authenticate the connector?

As it looks like the authentication was not successful or completed and after some time it results to the error that you observed.

You can try to sign in in the private browser and see if you still observe the same behavior.

In some scenarios there could be browser add on or ad plus causing the issue where the pop up would not be shown causing this issue. You can try disabling the add-on on your browser as well to see if helps you to resolve the issue.

Issue:

You observed unknow error when you try to sign in to ARM connector.

You found that you don't have necessary permissions to perform the action on the resource group for your subscription

So, the case is kind of closed; the account I am using seems to lack the necessary permissions. It would be really helpful if the error message conveyed this.
