Has anyone been getting CloudFlare errors when trying to access certain websites since the latest Edge update?

Since the latest Microsoft Edge update in April, certain websites are "forbidden" with Cloud Flare protection. These same websites are accessible in Google, but not in Edge. These sites were all accessible in Edge prior to the latest Edge update.

Yes, I'm getting the same issues. Example site is http://www.bom.gov.au/. I can access in Chrome but not in Edge, comes up with Cloudfare proxy error forbidden 403

I just remembered a workaround. I had this issue a few years ago that was caused by a browser extension that somehow set off an incompatibility with cloud flare. I contacted Microsoft support and the support tech remote accessed my laptop and enabled reloading pages in Internet Explorer mode. (That is found in Settings, Default Browser, Set the toggle switch to Allow. Then...in Settings, under Appearance, Select which buttons to show on the Toolbar. Toggle on the IE mode button. When you get the Cloudflare error page, Click the IE mode button in your toolbar. You may have to click it twice, but the page will display properly. You'll get options to open the page in compatibility view, but I'm finding that is not necessary.

Hello sir, (I'm 10 you know) While I got to turbowarp, I'd have an error 500 obtained, which is "internal server error". Yeah.

The problem started with the new update of Edge when Microsoft released the "Microsoft Edge Secure Network (built-in VPN)" feature. which is somehow blocked by Cloudflare.

In order to solve this you need to go to Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Security and disable "Microsoft Edge Secure Network"

looking forward for Microsoft to fix the built-in VPN to get around Cloudflare.

Microsoft Secure Network was already disabled when the problem started in Edge. No issues with Chrome or Firefox.

This has allowed me to open the affected websites, but much site operability is not usable in this mode. Let's hope Microsoft will fix this.

For me, not disabling "use Microsoft Edge Security Network", but disabling "Use secure DNS" on the same page did the trick.

I navigated to settings -> Privacy, Search and Services -> Security and disabled "Use secure DNS" there.
