I am working to get my AZ-104 and am currently at the following module:
I am asked to create an new Microsoft Entra ID tenant but I only have the option to create an Azure AD B2C type tenant. How can I complete this training?

Previously, we permitted the creation of extra free Microsoft Entra trial tenants using an existing free trial tenant. However, our security team has recently identified this practice as being associated with fraudulent and abusive activities. To bolster your organization's security measures, Microsoft is now restricting this capability to only those customers who have paid for Microsoft Entra P1/P2 licenses. Customers on trial licenses will no longer have the ability to create additional tenants from the Microsoft Entra admin center. Customers in this situation who need a new trial tenant can sign up for a Free Azure Account.

Yes, I still have my Azure Free account. Initially, there's a $200 credit for the first 30 days, after which it switches to Pay-As-You-Go. However, there are free services available for another 11 months after the initial 30 days. You have to stick to the free services in order to avoid any charges.
Regarding the AZ-104 learning path on Learn, most exercises can be completed using the free sandbox subscription. Some exercises may require the Pay-As-You-Go account, but the cost is either free or minimal.
It's possible to keep costs low by learning how to manage expenses effectively. With a paid Azure account, you can engage in extensive learning and practice while keeping monthly costs under $10 or $20. Setting up alerts for exceeding certain thresholds and regularly monitoring the subscription for incurring charges are essential practices.
For the security segment of studies, it's uncertain what exactly will be covered in the course. However, there are strategies, like timing the Free EMS E5 trial before engaging in exercises requiring higher licenses, to minimize expenses.
