How can I restrict access to azure migrate project

So my org is undergoing migration, We are running running multiple Azure Migrate projects and now we need to restrict access to each project. For example User A should have access to Project A and should not be able to access Project B or C. User B should have access to only Project B and should not be able to access project A or C. Same way User C should only be able to see project C and not A or B
One way i can think of is, creating each project with its own resource group and limiting access to the resource group. Would that work? If not how can we achieve the above?

Hi,

This is very easy. Just assign Contributor role or Reader role (depending on your requirements) for each user or set of users (groups) per project resource. Do not give any access above the resource.

Thanks for your input. I did not test out the your suggestion, however i did test out creating each project with it own resource group and assigning access for users to the respective source group. This isolated the users with access to one project from being able to see the other projects in azure migrate.

In general that is the same what I have proposed just the scope of role assignment is different. I did not had the context that the projects were in different resource groups, due to the way the question was asked I have assumed that they are in the same resource group.
