    Hi Samir,

    Azure Virtual Machines (Azure VMs) are supposed to be used for infrastructure (IaaS):

    • Web Servers
    • File Servers
    • Print Servers

    On the other hand Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is allows you to virtualize desktops and applications and give them to your users, providing them a remote experience. An example of this is:

    • One of your users is working from home. They need to access company resources, but you don't want them running software/logging into things on their home computer. They must remote in to your AVD environment to access their work related resources.
