According to the M365 Roadmap, support for Drag/Drop attachments from the New Outlook to the local file system should be supported. Item: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=380720

Users in our organization are still unable to do this, however... when testing today on my W365 Cloud PC, I can.

I verified the Outlook versions match on both systems. Both are running W11.

The only difference I can think of, is the devices are Entra joined and my cloud PC is AD joined. Everything else looks the same.

    Hi @Michael Hines ,

According to my research, this feature is not fully supported yet in the new version of Outlook. It is recommended that you continue to keep Outlook updated. If this feature is officially launched later, I will reply to you below.Also. we recommend you post your feedback to our product development team so that they can work on it in future. To submit the feedback within the Outlook application via Help > Feedback.

In the support article you cited, it says that the feature is "rolling out," so it isn't available to everybody yet.
