There is an auto forwarding rule configured by outlook admin to forward all incoming emails sent by suppliers to an external email address (Oracle ERP). ERP is not working as expected because it expects either with some key values in subject of auto forwarded email or blank subject.

Question I have here is,

Is it possible to append a static id to all incoming email using the rule? OR

Is it possible to remove the subject using the rule?

    Hi @BR, Rajesh ,

Appending a static ID to all incoming emails or removing the subject using a rule is not a standard feature in Outlook. However, there are some workarounds:

Appending a Static ID: In Outlook, you can create a rule to assign a category to incoming emails. While this doesn’t append a static ID to the subject line, it can help you organize your emails. Unfortunately, Outlook rules do not support modifying the subject line of incoming emails.

Removing the Subject: As for removing the subject line, it’s not typically possible with standard email client rules. The subject line is a fundamental part of an email and removing it could cause the email to be marked as spam.
