Dear All,

We have customer with below environment,

1- 20 TB of Data on SharePoint Document Library
2- 20 TB of Data on OnPrem File Server

Customer would like to consolidate and move all the data to single repository,

Currently they have the below challenges with Sharepoint Document Library,

1-SharePoint Access via Map Drive and One Drive Client is often slow and unreliable
2-They have issues with File Sync
3-Speed of data access and search

For OnPrem Data
1- Soon they are running out of Storage Space
2- Access of data from outside the network

We have suggested to go with Azure File Sync , however we would need to understand the below,

1- How to move data from SharePoint Document Library to Azure File Sync
2- Ensure that user has consistency in Data Access both from Office and Offsite
3- Esure quick access is available,

Need to understand if Azure File Sync is the best option or there are other solution on Azure that can help,

Awaiting kind Response,

Regards - Hasan Reza,

    Hi @Hasan Reza ,

As far as I know, you could use Migration Manager or SharePoint Migration tool to move files from local file shares to SharePoint Online. For more, you could refer to the below articles:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/mm-get-started
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/introducing-the-sharepoint-migration-tool

For the Azure File Sync, it seems that there is no easy way to move the data other than powershell command. Here is an article that may help you:
