Failed to Activate Intune Admin role (Additional verification required)

Question

Today when I was trying to activate Intune Administrator role, it asked me for Additional Verification. Once verification is done it still asks for Additional Verification and then it continues like a Loop and Intune Admin role is never activated. Issue remains same even after clearing all the browsing history. My Intune admin role is active until Feb 2025.

@Vishal vardhan, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, I know you are activating Intune Administrator. But after researching, I didn't find the action in Intune. Could you let us know if you mean granting user with Intune administrator permission? If not, please get screen shot to let us better understand it. As a reminder, if any sensitive information in screen shot, please hide it.

Meanwhile, for the verification, are you meaning MFA? Besides password verification, did we configure Microsoft authenticator verification?
