App service plan migration from one resource group to other

Hi i have multiple app service plan in one resource group.

can i move one app plan to other resource group by using azure resources mover.

Will it affect the app services.

and once migration done, can we see m series in my app plan p1vm2 or other as they are not currently showing

Moving App Service Plan from one region to another is not supported. But you can move an app inside an app service plan to another app service plan across different regions.

can we see m series in my app plan p1vm2 or other as they are not currently showing

Also, from the App service plan pricing page I don't see we have any app service plan with P1vm2.Could you please check and let us know.

How we can move app inside an app service plan to another app service plan across different regions.

In app service we have option to change the plan but it show plan of same region only.

Kuldeep Singh(OT) I understand now you want to move the app to different region for that you can use app cloning which will allow you to create/move app to different region refer to this block in the same documentation that you have called out earlier.

Can i move My app plan linux and window both to resource group 2 from resource group 1, will it lead to any downtime.

Kuldeep Singh(OT) apologizes for the delay in my response.

I am able to move the windows and Linux app service + plan from 2 different resource group to single resource group without any issues.

As mentioned in the documentation here, moving a resource to a new resource group or subscription is a metadata change that shouldn't affect anything about how the resource functions.
