Anydesk application deployed in intune keep re-installing

Hello Team,

I have deployed AnyDesk application via Intune and assigned it to some users, but the application keeps reinstalling itself. Do you have any idea what could be the cause?

@J-3804, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Before we look into the issue could you collect the following information to know the issue better:

How did we deploy the Anydesk application? Did we deploy via Win32 app type or other type?
How many devices are affected? Are there any working devices? if yes, please compare with them to see if there's any difference between them?
Where did we see the reinstalling? Could it be removed by any third party application like AV or others? then it install again.

How did we deploy the Anydesk application? Did we deploy via Win32 app type or other type? Via Win32

How many devices are affected? Are there any working devices? if yes, please compare with them to see if there's any difference between them? all devices are impacted

Where did we see the reinstalling? Could it be removed by any third party application like AV or others? then it install again. Where can I find the logs?

@J-3804, Thanks for the reply. From your description, I know all the devices are affected and the app is deployed via Win32. What is the device status under the application in Intune? Could you get screen shots of it? As a note, please hide any sensitive information in the screen shots.

Meanwhile, you can go to analyze the IME logs to see if you can get more finding. Here is a link describe how to analyze the log for your reference.

If you created it as Win32 app, check your Detection Method first. Re-installation might keep happening because the Intune engine does not recognize, that application is already installed, if the detection method is set incorrectly.

You can also invent your own detection method by adding additional text file during installation script or create registery key. This is sometimes usefull, if a real detection method based on file cannot be used.
