Hello,

Not long ago, I tried assigning roles to my coworkers. When all thing's done, I saw that there are 4 duplicates of my account in the owner role, so i tried deleting 2 of those role. After that azure portal won't let me in with message saying I'm not authorized to access the subscription. Back in the overview, the sub is also gone in the list.

Could Azure technical team offer their help to me? I tried contacting azure support through regional phone number but they are uncontactable.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello William,

Thank you for raising your query in the Microsoft Q&A Community.

I understand that you are not able to access your subscription after removing the duplicate users with Owner roles.

If there are no other users with an Owner or Privileged Admin role that can reassign an Owner role to you on the Subscription, you can elevate your access if you currently have a Global Admin role in the Entra ID. Also, anyone with the Global Admin role can elevate their access and this will the user the permission to assign a role on the Subscription.

Kindly follow the link below to get more information about how to elevate your access.

Let me know if this works.

    Hello,

Thanks for the solutions, as it turns out my coworkers have access to the previously mentioned subscription, all there is to do to regain access is to add back the owner role through my coworker account.
