Hi all,

 

Is it possible to stop users downloading app versions of sites ie youtube on chrome?

If so can this be done via intune?

    That looks like an extension from the Chrome web store. You should be able to block the installation using Intune settings catalog. Just search for Google Chrome extensions and use * to block all.

    @Aran Billen, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For the YouTube extension id, based on my researching, it seems to be "blpcfgokakmgnkcojhhkbfbldkacnbeo". You can enter it under value in your profile <enabled/> <data id="ExtensionInstallBlacklistDesc" value="blpcfgokakmgnkcojhhkbfbldkacnbeo"/>

    However, if it is still not working, try to deploy via administrative template to see if it can work. here is a link with detailed steps for your reference:
