using external email within onmicrosoft.com accounts

Hi, We have our primary corporate email on GCC High, but our license subscriptions are registered to an onmicrosoft.com account which does not have Microsoft365 enabled so receiving email is not an option.

How configure the primary email to something other then ******@xxx.onmicrosoft.com?

    You still should be able to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (admin.microsoft.com) by using your Entra ID account (even without the Microsoft 365 subscription) - and configure an alternate email address as described in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/troubleshoot/miscellaneous/support-cases-for-gcc-high-dod
