I'm trying to add Document Automation in Ai Builder, but it says "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment"

Hello,

We are trying to use the Document Automation in Power Automate, however get a red error message stating: "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment". We are in the Europe Region for the Power Platform, is is true that this is blocked? I can't find any information online about this.

I am having the same issue. In my environment it says "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment."

Envrionment is in Europe and according to the docs it should be available here.

I've tried multiple different environments, all based in Europe, and get the same error on all of them. I'm a System Administrator on all of these environments, but nothing works.

Was your test performed on a PP Environment based in Europe?

I followed this all through, set the permissions on the "System Customizer" role and still get the error: "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment.".

I've tried with 3 other environments now (all in Europe) and the same message appears on all, regardless of my permission level.

I'm not sure what else to try. My user is also a System Administrator on 2 of these environments and I have no ability to do anything with Document Automation, I never get past this error.

Hi Rakesh,I am having the same issue. I cannot set up custom documents and invoices in my environments (any more). I have three environments based in Europe. In the first one I could install it a couple of weeks ago. In the other two ones (created today, Europe as well) I cannot do this, same error: "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment." I am a full admin in all the environsments

Rakesh, I've done everything I can to try to get this to work in Europe, but still just get the same message that Philip gets. Are you not able to replicate this error in a Europe Power Platform environment?

Hi,

I am having the exact same problem - I added Document Automation to a solution in the Europe region a few months ago, when I try to do it with a new solution with the same region I get the error "Document automation isn’t available in your region. Contact your admin or create a new environment."

I have system administrator rights to the environment.

Are you saying that I need to select the correct Environment? This is what I've been doing. I've been creating multiple environments and then choosing them from the top. No matter which environment I select, I get the same error message. I'm going to raise a real case with MS as this seems to be going nowhere.

@Gerecke, Philip , @Morten Lillehagen - I had a quick resolution from Microsoft Support:

"Hello Carl, Trust this mail finds you well.

I had a discussion with my team on the issue you had regarding document automation solution on your environment, but it is stating this is not supported for your region.

On our side we also do not see this available in Europe, the reason why it is because we have a known issue which is preventing this to appear in Europe region. It is seen that its a bug and product team have created a work item on it and have started working on it."

They provided me with a zip file for the solution that allowed me to import it and then work with Document Automation.

Best bet would be to contact MS directly through the Power Platform support and they should be able to assist.

You can split the ZIP file into parts of up to 3MB using a file compression tool such as PowerShell, WinRAR, or 7-Zip. This will allow you to upload the parts here. Alternatively, you can share the file via OneDrive or SharePoint with "anyone with the link" access.
