Powerpoint does not work well in macos big sur.

When i close the slide without doing any changes, the app cracks and forces me to quit. And also it cracks in some slide show and i can't study which annoys me the most. Will be there any update for this bug?

    Please give the following information:

    1. The version of your PowerPoint.
      You can check it via PowerPoint menu>About Microsoft PowerPoint.
    2. The screenshot of error message.
    3. Does this issue occur when opening the same files on another Mac that has different operating system?
    4. Does this issue occur when using other Office applications?

    After checking the information above, I suggest you to update Office.

    If it doesn’t work, please uninstall Office completely and then reinstall it.

    Besides, you may also try rebooting Mac in safe mode, this helps you check if this issue is caused by incompatible login items or others.

    Hi, Ive update to MacOs Big Sur and the powerpoint always got stuck with the font change. is necessary to re start. How I can solve it? thanks

    I have been having the identical issues in PPT Mac 2021 (16.45 (21011103) - product ID 02954-067-174771.

    All the shortcuts on PPT have become greyed out and are unusable. Things like Cmd-X, Cmd-V etc can not be used...

    I updated to Big Sur about 3 weeks ago. No idea why this is happening - very little on Redit or other sites about this issue. I'm totally unable to work - it was working earlier today.

    I've tried:

    1. Tossing the prefs file (no use)
    2. Checking the Accessibility control panel - nothing obvious to change - no help
    3. Deleting a secondary non-english soft keyboard that I use - no help

    This is only in PPT, not in other Office apps.

    I too am having this issue. It only happens in Powerpoint. It doesn't happen in Word. I just upgraded to Big Sur last night and the issue started today.
