Hi,

Using the Pricing Calculator for the first time, without the granularity I expected, I'm looking to see the expected cost for running a simple Scheduled task to boot up a Virtual Machine once a day. I've been quoted the montly cost attached but I've not seen options to elaborate on where/what I am doing with this scheduled task. Have I missed something to obtain a more accurate price? For a monthly cost for such a quick and short scheduled task, that seems high.

Thanks.

    @Sam Lee AD

    Looking at the screenshot it seems you are quoting costs for Azure Scheduler, which has been deprecated.

    The current recommendation is to utilize Start/Stop VMs v2, which utilizes Azure Functions for the start/stop of VMs. Utilizing this the cost of the service should be minimal. Pricing for Azure Functions can be found here.

    If you are utilizing a different service for starting your VMs please let me know and we can review the solution with you.

    If you have questions regarding pricing I recommend chatting with our sales team. They are most experienced in utilizing the pricing calculator and can walk you through things you might be overlooking.
