Problem with Resource mailbox calender (Representative trust)

We have an MS Teams Rooms system, for which a resource mailbox was created online. (In an Exchange hybrid environment).

We have given an employee access to the mailbox calendar. He can see the meetings booked there.

The employee should have the right to delete appointments in the room calendar, even if the organizer of the meeting was an external person. However, this does not work, even though all permissions have been set.

If an appointment is clicked on in Outlook, the employee is asked to enter his password. If it is entered, nothing happens and the prompt appears again.

We need suggestions for solutions here, please.

Thank you and best regards

    Hi @Alexander H,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I understand that user is prompted for password when delete an appointment with room mailbox.

Please make sure the employee has Full Access permission to the resource mailbox.

And ensure the employee has the appropriate delegate permissions for the calendar.

Also, please kindly try to delete the appointment via OWA. If Outlook Web Version works fine, it most likely the client issue, you may try to create new Outlook Profile as following link to fix the issue Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support.

If there are anything else you need help with, please feel free to contact me.
