Hello,

I'm trying to use the AVD quickstart to deploy a virtual desktop but I get the following error when i look at the inputValidationRunbook:

UsernamePasswordCredential authentication failed: Federated service at https://autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com/1xpd3.onmicrosoft.com/winauth/trust/2005/usernamemixed?client-request-id=b4dd289e-8eb7-4a3c-b42d-1c87a7e78afa returned error: Authentication Failure (UsernamePasswordCredential authentication failed: Federated service at https://autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com/1xpd3.onmicrosoft.com/winauth/trust/2005/usernamemixed?client-request-id=b4dd289e-8eb7-4a3c-b42d-1c87a7e78afa returned error: Authentication Failure )

The error seems to stem from the MFA on the Azure admin user name that I use while entering the required information for the deployment. I'm not sure how to get it to work and disabling MFA does not seem to work since the second and try to connect with that account it blocks and requires me to setup MFA.

I also tried multiple times making sure I have the right credentials.

    Hello Daniel M

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

Currently as documented in this Prerequisites of this document(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/quickstart?tabs=new-aadds#prerequisites). here is no way to deploy if the account requires MFA.

    Hope this clarifies.
