Hi @CHiemsch ,
The Outlook error 0x8004210A occurs when Microsoft Outlook fails to establish a connection with your email server. Here are some methods to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Consider increasing the account server’s timeout interval to avoid the 0x8004210A error.
- Go to the File menu and click Account Settings.
- Select the account you want to adjust and click Change.
- In the new window, click More Settings.
- Under the Advanced tab, manually increase the timeout.
Check Your Antivirus Scanner and Ensure It Is Disabled: This is because every time you send or receive emails from your Outlook mailbox, the antivirus software scans the emails to ensure safety. This might cause a delay. Therefore, it is recommended to update your antivirus software or temporarily disable the antivirus.
Create a new Outlook profile: If the problem persists, you might want to try creating a new Outlook profile. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add. After creating the new profile, add the problematic account. (Remember to back up any important data before making these changes.)
