Syncing To Do with Outlook Web events (time blocking)

When I work I want to create tasks for myself usually from OneNote or from emails in Outlook. These tasks then appear in my To Do List.

I normally use Outlook on the web. So when I'm looking at the Calendar, I also look at the To Do list next to it. I can then block time for each task either by dragging to the calendar, or selecting the Block Time feature for each task. Then the task appears in my calendar. So far this works fine.

But then if I don't get to a task today, I want to move it to tomorrow or another day. So I drag the block of time in my calendar to another day. I noticed that in my To Do list, it only shows the original due date, but no date/time that exists in the blocked time event in the calendar.

Similarly, if I make any changes to the item in my To Do list (e.g. modifying the title or date/time), it is not reflected in my calendar. It seems like once the time is blocked, Outlook treats the To Do item and its associated calendar event as two completely separate items.

How do I go about linking or syncing them? I want any updates to mirror their associated "events"/time blocks in my calendar and vice versa. Additionally, I would like the My Day list in To Do to accurately reflect the To Do items that I've planned in my calendar for today.

P.s. I'm using Microsoft 365 for work. So I'd have to request permission from the IT team for any add ins and stuff like that, which would take an eternity to get approved.
