Remove a provisioning package

Hello 

Please i need your help on this issue.

We are trying to remove a provisioning package and obtaining full admin provision on a computer PC.

I want to remove a user's computer from the device Intune management. To give the user full access so she can install and download the software on her computer.

 

When we try to do it we got an error message:

    Can you try these steps

    Removing Device from Intune Management

    To remove the device from Intune management, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) portal.
    2. Navigate to Devices > All devices.
    3. Find the device you want to remove from Intune management and click on the three dots next to it.
    4. Click Remove device.
    5. Confirm that you want to remove the device.

    Granting Full Admin Access

    To grant the user full admin access, you can try the following:

    1. In the MEM portal, go to Devices > All devices.
    2. Find the device and click on the three dots next to it.
    3. Click Edit.
    4. In the Device properties, scroll down to the User access section.
    5. Click on Edit user access.
    6. Select the user's account and click Save changes.

    This should remove the device from Intune management and grant the user full admin access.

    Uninstalling Applications

    If you're unable to uninstall applications, try the following:

    1. Make sure that the user has admin privileges on their computer.
    2. Check if any applications are managed by Intune policies or configurations that prevent uninstallation.
    3. Try uninstalling applications manually using built-in Windows tools (e.g., Control Panel > Programs and Features).

    @Iniobong Nkanga, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, it seems there is policy which block the app. To remove device management from Intune, here are some actions you can do:

    1. Ask your Intune admin to retire or delete the device from Intune portal. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/devices-wipe
    2. If you have local administrator on the device, you can login using a local administrator to see if we can see the enrolled user under Settings->Accounts->Access work or school, if yes, disconnect it.
