Hi

In Outlook desktop we have a whole load of local signatures ('this device') which we need to upload to MS 365 (roaming). Is there a way to move them automaticllay?

Thanks

Regards

    Hi @-- -- ,

Transferring your Outlook signatures from "this device" to Microsoft 365 (roaming) can be done by following these steps:

    1. Locate Your Signature Files: On your current device, navigate to the folder where Outlook stores your signatures. This is typically found at: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures
    2. Copy the Signature Files: Copy all the files from this folder. You can use a USB drive, cloud storage, or any other method to transfer these files to your new device.
    3. Paste the Signature Files on the New Device: On your new device, paste the copied files into the same directory
    4. Enable Roaming Signatures: Open Outlook on your new device and ensure that the roaming signatures feature is enabled. This can usually be done through File > Options > General > Store my Outlook settings in the cloud
    5. Verify the Signatures: Open a new email to check if your signatures are available and correctly formatted.

I think this should work.... You'll need to rename (or copy and rename) the signatures with the user's UPN at the end in brackets.
    Example:
    User's current local signatures: "Someone's Signature.htm"
    Rename to: "Someone's Signature (******@somedomain.com).htm"

Then, in Outlook classic, close and reopen, then go to signatures and select their email account (not "Signatures on this device"), and the new signatures should now display in their account you can set the signature and it will sync with OWA.
