Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.
I am afraid your naming conventions are misleading.
When you say "we have a domain for example main.test.edu. Also we have a child domain ******@main.test.edu"
- Don't you mean you have records such as "www1.child**.main.test.edu" and "www2.child.**main.test.edu" ? (. and not @ )
The correct way to create a childzone in Azure is by following : Create a child DNS zone
- Once done, you should be able to create new records such as "webex" within the newly created child zone "child.main.test.edu"
- So, the effective record becomes "webex.child.main.test.edu"
If my understanding is incorrect, please do let me know and please elaborate your query so we can assist you better.
Thanks,
Kapil
