What options do we have to deploy custom Windows 11 images?

We are currently using WDS to deploy Windows 10 images. We started testing the deployment/upgrade Windows 11 images but it appears that WDS does not support Win 11. I've read that deploying images still works however we are working to move to a moderm approach for Windows 11 image deployment. We would prefer not to use third party tools to achieve this.

We do use Intune and Autopilot for our devices as well.

What is the prefered/recommended method to deploy custom Windows 11 images for production?

    Regarding your query about imaging Autopilot devices, we do not recommend imaging devices if you are planning to move to Modern Management through Autopilot. Instead, we advise using the OEM-optimized version of Windows that comes pre-installed on the device.
