Cannot Change my 2FA

Hi,

I have a "work" account for our work and I used it to connect to a Teams domain which outside my "business". The reason I put "" on this is because our small business doesn't use Teams for our internal work and we only use to connect as tenant to a different one.

I recently changed my work phone because my previous one was broken. I haven't had the backup done (2FA and everything else) because it died and couldn't be powered back on to copy everything needed.

I can access my "work MS account" and I can change the password, but I cannot change the 2FA because it's asking be for a 2FA code or a security code which I cannot provide because it's not available for myself (my old work phone got broken).

Could, you, please help me? I really need that Teams page with this account because it's tied with my day to day work.

Kind Regards,

Dan

Are you admin or end user?

I can access my "work MS account" and I can change the password,

    <<<

If you are an admin. Can you access admin center (https://admin.microsoft.com/)without any issue?

For end user contact your Office 365 admin. (i.e. you may contact the person who gave you your Microsoft 365 user account and password for further assistance).

If you are an only admin may contact phone support for further assistance See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/get-help-support?view=o365-worldwide#phone-support
