C# IDE problems

Can someone please help, the IDE is driving me crazy, nothing seems to work as it should, alignment of controls seems very random, I select two controls click on the toolbar icons to align and it seems they jump around on the display but not where they are supposed to be.

I am also working on a form where I placed everything where I want then build and run and the splash is a completely different size with controls overlapping and not as they are in the IDE.

My home set-up could be the cause, but I don't know why it looks ok in the IDE but not when built. My display is a Samsung LC49RG90SSUXEN 49" Curved LED Gaming Monitor. I use it instead of multiple monitors. I don't understand why in the IDE all looks ok, but when built it doesn't. Another annoying issue which I cannot solve, is the label which I have assigned an image to, I've tried to set the Size to match the image, it will not accept it and keeps changing to something larger, I have no margins, AutoSize is false so whats could be the cause of that? Can anyone help?

The operating system is Microsoft Windows Version 10,0.19045..4780, Visual Studio is Professional 2022 (64-bit) Version 17.11.3, completely up to date as of today. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.09037

I've now resolved the issue, it was down to scaling, there was a link displayed on a one liner when the IDE launched, I clicked the link to relaunch the IDE and now it works perfectly.
