Restringir cuentas en outlook

Hola,

¿Sería posible restringir de alguna manera Outlook para que solo permitiera configurar cuentas de correo de un determinado dominio? ¿o quizá restringirlo a una o dos cuentas y que no se pudieran agregar mas cuentas? La intención es que se utilice Outlook únicamente con las cuentas corporativas de un determinado dominio.

Hi Joan,

Thanks for your reply. I did't referring to restrict receiving emails from certain domains. What I wanted to ask is if it is possible to restrict the accounts that we can add in Outlook.

The idea is that users can only use the company account from the corporate Outlook and cannot add another account in that Outlook.

Could it be restricted so that only one account can be added? or maybe only accounts from a single domain?

Yes, it is possible to restrict the accounts that can be added in Outlook to ensure that users can only use their company accounts. please take the following steps:

Open the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC):

Press Win + R, type gpmc.msc, and press Enter.

Create a New Group Policy Object (GPO):

In the GPMC, right-click on your domain or the Organizational Unit (OU) where you want to apply the policy.

Select Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here....

Name the GPO (e.g., "Restrict Outlook Accounts").

Edit the GPO:

Right-click on the newly created GPO and select Edit.

Navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2016 (or your version of Outlook) > Account Settings > Exchange.

Configure the Policy:

Double-click on Disable adding new accounts.

Set the policy to Enabled.

Click OK.

Restrict to a Single Domain:

In the same GPO, navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2016 (or your version of Outlook) > Account Settings > Exchange.

Double-click on Only allow accounts from specific domains.

Set the policy to Enabled.

In the Options section, enter the domain you want to allow (e.g., yourcompany.com).

Click OK.

Apply the GPO:

Close the Group Policy Management Editor.

In the GPMC, right-click on the OU or domain where the GPO is linked and select Group Policy Update to apply the policy immediately.
