I understand you are thinking that Azure portal and Entra both are different? Correct me if Iam wrong? The Azure Portal and Entra are closely related but serve different purposes. When you create users in the Azure Portal, those changes are reflected in Entra as well. Regarding the MFA announcement, you need to enable MFA for your tenant by October 15, but you do not need to register your account in Entra separately.
Additionally, having a separate admin account and a break-glass account can be beneficial. This provides redundancy in case there are issues with your primary account and allows for easier management of access and permissions.
