Why has my list view changed look?

Apparently This is because of a new update deployed by Microsoft: SharePoint: Microsoft Lists - User experience (UX) update

We are having issues where I am the owner of the list and see the old look but my users see the new look. That makes it impossible for me to format columns using json.

How can I force my view to use the new look?

    Hi @Steve HENDY ,

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

This update is pushed by the backend and not controlled by the frontend. If other users of the same list have the new look, but you don't, you can try clearing your browser cache or using privacy mode to see if that solves the problem. As for your inability to use JSON, as far as I know, both the old look and the new one can use JSON. Can you provide more details about this? Screenshots would be even better.

    Good day!

    Hi @Steve HENDY ,

    Ok, got you.

You can create a new user in Microsoft 365 admin center, give him enough permissions to the list, and then open the list with the new account to see if the account can see the new look of the list.

If it is yes, and the impact is not large for you, you can use this account to operate, or you can use the new account to compare the working status of JSON formatting.

If it still doesn't work, as I said before, the update is controlled by the backend, the forum permissions are insufficient, and the support we can provide is limited. So we recommend you directly create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 admin center. The support team over there has the correct escalation channel, they can involve more resource and investigate the behavior from back end as fast as possible. They also can check the behavior on your end remotely. For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs, you can select online support or phone support to have a live chat with the support engineers.

    Good day!

Great to know that and thanks for sharing the update here.

By the way, since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer.
