Is there a way to restore a deleted Workspace created in Microsoft Edge?

I created a workplace and moved few folders to the workspace's favorites.

Later, I decided to delete this workspace. Before doing that I moved back the workspace's Favorites to the default 'Favorites bar' (e.g. edge://favorites/?id=1)

Assuming the Favorites from the workspace will be available from the default 'Favorites bar', I proceeded with the delete workspace action, without testing my assumption.

Now the workspace is gone, without an option to recover it. The favorites' folder assumed that was copied across the default profile is also lost.

    Hi @Vlad M ,

Unfortunately, you can't recover your deleted workspace. The "restore" feature is not supported.

For the missing favorites, you might have a chance to recover them following these steps:

    1. Close Edge.
    2. Go to your profile folder. By default, it should be C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default. If you are not sure about it, you can find it in edge://version (type it in the address bar) --> Profile path.
    3. Locate Bookmarks file and Bookmarks.bak file.
    4. Rename Bookmarks file into Bookmarks.old.
    5. Rename Bookmarks.bak file into Bookmarks.
    6. Launch Edge.

Now you may be able to restore the favorites. However, it is also possible to lose some of them or simply fail to restore them (depending on whether Edge had kept the backup before the favorites were gone).
