I am developing a commercial Windows Form application using C# with Visual Studio 2022. I need to add images to buttons. I downloaded the Visual Studio 2022 Image Library. The PNG images inside only have a resolution of 1616, which is too blurry. So, I converted the SVG files into PNG images with a resolution of 6464 and used them. May I ask if I am allowed to use the Visual Studio 2022 Image Library in this manner? Thank you.

    Hello @霖松 胡,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    The license says

Media Elements. You may copy and use images in the Image Library provided with the software and identified for such use in documents and projects that you create.

No key words like modify, change or convert. So, I don’t think it’s a good idea to convert or modify the provided images.

As your question is license related, you may try to double confirm this by calling 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist.

    Have a nice day :)

    Sincerely,

    Tianyu
