Database migration from Single server instance to Flexible server instance

Our application Database has been migrated from single server instance to Flexible server instance. It is stating in the Azure portal that the migration was successful. But we are unable to find our Database under our subscription.

Ensure you are looking under the correct subscription and resource group.

Check the activity logs for any errors or warnings during the migration process.

Use the Azure CLI to list all flexible servers in your subscription.

Microsoft enabled the database in the resource. But we are facing difficulty while trying to connect from workbench.

Hi Mahesh,

Thanks for following up. We restored the backup flexible server database and updated the Endpoint. We have enabled public access for the restore. After this configuration we can be able to connect with the database from workbench as well from the VM.

But from my point of view the migration team to be very careful while doing the migration.

We restored the backup flexible server database and updated the Endpoint. We have enabled public access for the restore. After this configuration we can be able to connect with the database from workbench as well from the VM.

I have one query. After the Migration, we feel the speed of the database is reduced. Is it because of flexible database? Is there any way to maximize the performance?

As part of our Initial analysis, we have rebuild all the indexes in the database. But still performance issue exist.

Any solution will be helpfull.
