Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

I have 3 problems:

  1. I already have 5 onmicrosoft domains but would desire to add a 6th and make it my fallback domain. Is there a way to add more than 5 onmicrosoft domains?
  2. I have my custom domain and it has already been connected to my office 365. I desire to add a sub domain ' and then add this as my root SharePoint / OneDrive URL. How might this be done?
  3. I would rather not have to install PowerShell on my local system, is there a way around having to issue a command from PowerShell or a way to make this command from azure or something like this?

    Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038 ,

Thank you for posting in this community, For your questions:

1.You cannot add more than five onmicrosoft.com domains in Microsoft 365, as this is the maximum limit set by the platform. Once you reach this limit, you won't be able to create additional onmicrosoft.com domains.

2.For adding a subdomain and setting it as your root SharePoint/OneDrive URL, you will need to manage your DNS settings at your registrar's website.

Add a domain to Microsoft 365

Use Microsoft PowerShell to rename your domain

3.However, changing the root SharePoint URL requires using PowerShell, as the option to do this directly through the admin center is not available.
