Hello,

After waiting for support with no response, I come here to see if anyone can help. My company did not have any Microsoft account when I signed up and got approved for the startup founder credit so we used ******@outlook.com to sign up to Azure. We proceeded with using the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship on this account. We later saw the offer to get 1 year of Business Premium so we signed up for that offer. So now we have a company account that is not @oulook.com. We have not used any credits yet so I was hoping we could transfer the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship to this account instead to save ourselves from any headaches that would be caused by having 2 accounts and especially having the company Azure resources running on a @outlook.com account.

We have reached out to support and have support tickets in place that are simply being ignored even when our account has Standard support enabled. Is there anyone that can provide some guidance?

    Hi Carlos Fajardo,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We are sorry to hear about the support challenges you've encountered.

It is not possible to transfer a "Microsoft Azure Sponsorship" subscription to another account. This sponsorship subscription is a special type of offer provided by Microsoft to eligible customers for a limited time and is tied to the account used to sign up for it.

If you need to transfer ownership of a standard Azure subscription to another account, you can initiate a transfer request through the Azure portal. However, this option is not available for sponsorship subscriptions.

For more information, contact the Azure subscription management support team by submitting a support request. Persistence is key, so reference your existing tickets and emphasize urgency. I recommend reaching out to the Microsoft for Startups support team as well. You can submit a request via this link: https://foundershub.startups.microsoft.com/signup?drawer_open=true
