I'm having trouble with the sandbox exerices in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals: Describe Azure architecture and services, specifically Unit 5 under the Describe Azure Storage services module " create a storage blob".

It sends me to create a storage resource in the Azure portal and then prompts me to sign up for a free trial subscription rather than continuing in the sandbox. It still says I'm in the sandbox in the top right corner under my profile however.

Out of frustrastion I decided to just sign up for the free trial, but now I'm having an issue with my phone number recieving an error "dont include country code" under the phone number box. Any help with either of these would be great. I havent found any concrete answers on here.

    Hi Joseph Crawley,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issues you’re experiencing with the Azure sandbox exercises and the free trial subscription.

For the "Create a storage blob" exercise, you should be able to complete it within the sandbox environment without needing to sign up for a free trial. If you’re being prompted to create a storage resource in the Azure portal, it might be worth double-checking that you are indeed in the sandbox environment. Sometimes, refreshing the page or logging out and back in can help resolve these kinds of issues.

Regarding the error you encountered while signing up for the free trial, it sounds frustrating. The message about not including the country code typically indicates that the phone number format may need to be adjusted. Please ensure that you are entering your phone number in the correct format as specified on the registration page, without any additional characters like the country code.

If you continue to face difficulties with the free trial subscription, I recommend submitting a support ticket with our Azure support team for focused assistance. You can create a free support request by selecting "Subscription Management" as the issue type. For more details, please refer to this FAQ: How do I submit a support request if I can't sign in to the Azure portal?

Additionally, you may contact customer service for your specific country or region for further help.

I hope this information helps, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. If you find this response helpful, I would appreciate it if you could Accept the answer and close this thread.
