Hi,

I am struggling with users in APAC who have purchased Huawei (Harmony OS), Xiaomi (Xiaomi HyperOS), and some Android based phones.

Does Microsoft have any official position on how enterprises might enforce Entra Id MFA via Conditional Access Policy for users on these devices?

It appears that there is no MS Authenticator version for Harmony OS. Are there any plans to develop one?

Same question for Xiaomi.

Even many Android based devices only have a limited version of Android and the MS Authenticator application is not available to them in their app. stores.

These devices also seem to lack support for FIDO2 based authentication.

Does Microsoft have any guidance other than "buy a different phone"?

Huawei devices are unable to receive push notification in the Microsoft Authenticator app. In order to deliver push notifications, Microsoft relies on Google push notifications service to end user who own Android/Huawei devices.

Google no longer supports push notifications to those devices and therefore we are unable to deliver push notifications on these devices.

So, in devices where OS push notifications aren't supported, it won't work.
