Even though I did it from portal it is not working.
What do you mean it is not working? Do you get any error message, or some options are missing on the portal?
Please kindly check this document: Use connected identities in Visual Studio subscriptions and follow the steps here: Add the alternate account. If you have checked the above document, can you confirm that your admin has connected your MSA and Microsoft Entra identities?
If you have checked and followed everything in the document but still fail to add an alternate email, then please kindly directly contact Visual Studio Subscription Team to double confirm your subscription and the steps you followed on the portal.
