how to fix amd ryzen master giving error "vbs has to be disabled" when it is disabled

On opening AMD Ryzen Master software i get an error that says it cannot run unless Virtualization Based Security is disabled, however it is disabled.

To ensure it was disabled I -

_Turned off Windows Defender Application Guard (Core Isolation)

_Disabled Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform in the Turn On or Off Windows Features.

_Turned SVM off in the Bios

After restarting - VBS shows as being off (and Core Isolation isn't an option after turning off SVM in the bios)

But the Ryzen Master software still gives the same error message.

The Ryzen Master software used to work before I disabled VBS to get "Bluestacks" to work (which I never got working) - and what I did for that was only disabled Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform in "Turn On or Off Windows Features".

Can anyone help?

    Hi James,

Thanks for your post. Please understand that we have encountered similar issue that was resolved by disabling "SVM" in the UEFI/BIOS. Kindly try it and see if it works.
