    Symptoms

External users can't see tab content during sharing in meeting

    Workaround

To allow external users to view tab contents during a meeting, they should be invited to join a team as guest users.

    Expansion

There are two ways to collaborate with people outside your organization: guest access and external access.

    • External access - A feature that allows users to find, call, and chat with people who have Microsoft identities, including those from other organizations.
    • Guest access - A feature that allows you to invite people from outside your organization to join a team. Guests can also call, chat, and meet with people in your organization and you can share files and folders with them.

Set up external access if you need to find, call, chat, and set up meetings with people outside your organization who use Teams, Skype for Business Server, or Skype. By default, external access is enabled.

Use guest access to add a person from outside your organization to a team, where they can chat, call, meet, and collaborate on files. A guest can be given nearly all the same Teams capabilities as a native team member.

For more information, see Use guest access and external access to collaborate with people outside your organization.

    Hi @Ihor Polishchuk

According to your case description, external users in a Microsoft Teams meeting cannot view the content of a shared tab. Please try the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Permission check: Make sure the external user has the required permissions to view the content. The content shared in the tab may have restricted access settings.
    2. Team settings: Check the settings in Microsoft Teams to make sure external sharing is enabled. You can do this by going to the Teams admin center and navigating to Organization-wide settings > External access. Make sure the settings allow external users to access the content.
    3. Use Teams Web client: Ask the external user to try using the Teams Web client, access the content through a different browser, or clear their browser cache.
    4. Team update: Make sure that both you and the external user are using the latest version of Microsoft Teams.
    5. Re-sign in: Ask the external user to sign out of Teams and sign in again.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact Microsoft Online Support for further assistance. Thank you for your understanding and support.

To allow external users to see the tab content during a meeting, they should be invited as a guest to some 'Team' beforehand.
