    Hello @FlyinCow ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please open VS 2022, click Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard. Make sure that you select the correct command, "Use new shortcut in:" and then click "Assign".

For example(see following screenshot), to assign Ctrl + . to command Edit.Find, search and select it in Show commands containing box/list => select the area that you want to use the new shortcut in(I select Text Editor) => click "Press shortcut keys" box, and press Ctrl + . => click Assign

    User's image

If the shortcut keys don’t work, try following to narrow down the issue:

    1. Assign other shortcut keys to the same command, see if these new shortcut keys work.
    2. Try to change to set the Ctrl + . for another command, see if it works correctly.

Feel free to let us know the results.

    Best Regards,

    Tianyu
