SQL Server license key

We would like to ask if the SQL Server Key is separate or is it integrated into the SQL installation package, which I download from the MPSA administration portal (BCP), or M365 Admin Center (MAC).

While software such as Windows Server, Windows Client, Microsoft Office, Exchange Server, Sharepoint Server,... all have activation keys when installed.

So what do customers need to do to activate the SQL Server installation license?

    The SQL server license key is embedded in the installation package, when you purchase SQL server license from Microsoft volume license service center. You can see the license key on license key page during the installation.

    If you have further question about SQL license, I suggest that you can consult professionals in this area. please call 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist. Or you can go to Volume Licensing Service Center support. Please choose region/language and choose to call or have web. People there will help you more effectively.
