Hello,
In this module, do I need enterprise account to login to Microsoft 365 admin - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/create-configure-manage-identities/9-exercise-change-group-license-assignments
I can't login with my Microsoft account and I can't create or manage licenses.
Kindly please help

You need to have the permissions
microsoft.directory/groups/assignLicense
As a User Administrator or License Administrator you should have those permissions.

Do I have to run my microsoft account as an administrator? Because I just can't manage licenses - as this needs Microsoft 365.
If you want to do changes to the licenses you will need to have an account with these permissions.
So, i don't have a job at the moment - hence no business email. what to do?
should i then skip the section, as my current account doesn't have these permissions?
If you want to practice this and you dont have a lab environment I recommend getting a M365 Developer tenant.

Then you can create your own environment and create an admin account.
Thank you for your advice. But after entering the details, it says I don't qualify for a 365 account. Looks like I might have to skip the section altogether.
Yeah if you don't have an environment to test this in then I think you need to skip it. Some labs provide you with a test environment but this one doesn't.
If you are following instructor led trainings they will offer you these lab environment too. Sorry to hear you don't qualify for the developer subscription.
